Medical scientists help develop new medical breakthroughs that benefit humanity. This process involves a great deal of research and performing clinical trials to find out the effects of new drugs and vaccines. Many medical scientists enter into joint M.D. and Ph. D. program and those interacting directly with patients need a physician's license.

Education:
In order to become a medical scientist you need a bachelor's degree, as well as a masters degree. You are also going to need to go into medical school, which you get a M.D in medicine. In order to work with patients you are going to be licensed by the state.
Demand: There is no demand whats so ever but there is a growth rate by 13%.
Reflection: I would not like to be a Medical Scientist because it involves science and i would prefer to be something else besides this.
