Class/ Self Evaluation

           

What i liked about this class was that we get to use computers. And we learn how to operate them by learning ribbons and more in detail in programs. I liked how we get quotes and we have to reflect on them an how they are making us a ctr person. What i don't like about this class is the ctr card check. I mean i have it but its very nerve racking how your number might get picked. To improve this class i would get more in details with other programs instead of just Microsoft word. I honestly think i did the best in this class because i did my work i didn't get in trouble. I just did what i had to do. I wouldn't get in trouble so i did my best in this class.  Yes i am committed in being a ctr person because you must choose the right to get good consequences.

                                              IDP Showcase 

My IDP was about the disease of HIV . My experience from the beginning was chill because we had to research about this disease. In the actual presentation wasn't that nerve racking. I wasn't that nerves because the previous day my group presented in front of the class. That time i was nerves. The thing's i learned were also that this disease takes your live slowly And there are no cure for this diseases.

reflection:  What I understand about this quote is that in any circumstance do the right things. If you’re in a situating the doing the wrong is the only way out, do the right. You must ALWAYS choose the right. This quote is telling you directly to always do the right even if it makes you look bad or you get laughed at. You should always stand up and do the right. When you do the right you always get rewarded. People will always trust you and look up to you. And when you do good you will feel good.

What i understand about this quote is that if we are choosing the right we shouldn't be afraid of fears. Like we shouldn't be afraid of the law or the cops, because we are choosing the right so they wouldn't stop us for doing the right. An example would be if your doing wrong an a cop see it he will stop you. An of course you will have fear because you know that you did something wrong. Put if you did something right then you shouldn't be afraid or have fear.And if you get stopped by the cops there most likely to congratulate you or reward you.

reflection:What this quote means is that if you do all those things then you are going to be successful in life. The reason why you become successful in life is because if you are trust worthy then anyone  could give you  a job.Another thing is that if you are committed to do your best then the person who gives you a job could see the quality of job that you can do then he might raise your payment. Which this is very good in life. And lastly if you treat other the same way you want to be treated then this makes you a good person ad make a good character.All of these things that you do guide you straight to success. Also these thing that you could do makes you have good character. And by having good character is the same as having already success. Every thing that you do reflects on you, on who you are in a person. If you choose right way meaning all these actions then you achieve success. Success in life is almost the most important thing in life. And it all starts with following these actions.

             reflection: What i am understanding is that most people think, once he said about physical fitness we all thought about weight  or disease on over weight people. What he is trying to say is that in order to understand thing we need to be in shape and healthy. Being healthy makes us understand  more critical thinking and what choices to choose. Being physical healthy can help you comprehend things not a lot of people can. Being physical healthy may not help you be in shape put also have a healthy mind. Be mentally healthy. 

        Hawaii

If I could travel to any place on earth I would choose Hawaii. My dream would be to go on a trip to Hawaii. Hawaii has many nice beaches. Hawaii's nickname is "Aloha state because the word "Aloha" is most commonly used in Hawaiian language. Aloha can mean many different things like hello, welcome, best wishes, or even goodbye. Hawaii is the only US state with a tropical rain forest.  Hawaii is composed of 132 islands. Hawaii has many volcanoes. Hawaii has 2 official languages. These languages are Hawaiian and English. Since there are many volcanoes erupting, Hawaii is the only state in the nation to have increasing land area. Hawaii is America's youngest state. I selected Hawaii because I really enjoy the beach and Hawaii provides many beautiful beaches.

For example if someone dropped his money and you are so kind that you give it back because you know that it is wrong.      Reflection:  What i understand about this quote is that you must nit let people bring you down. You have to prove them wrong. An you better surprise them, so they know they shouldn't be prejudice. They shouldn't judge a books by a cover. An example would be if somebody say your not smart in of to pass math class. The person that told you that is challenging you to pass it or else you be a nothing in life. You must surprise them so they stop bringing people down. If somebody brings you down, you must be the one to bring yourself up no ,matter what people think of you its for your own good.        What i understand about this quote is that if your choosing something bad over good don't do it. If somebody says something about you and you know its not true the don't listen to it. This reminds me of bullying like do spread rumors if it a int true. An if you know it isn't true then why spread it. You have to choose the right and make people life better don't destroy there life. This quote is amazing because it showing us that we shouldn't pay attention to the bad decisions people have said, put  to correct those people on there mistakes. An example would be not to bully someone, by spreading a rumor. And you its not true. So why worry about there life. Worry about yours and learn from your  mistakes.

reflection:    What this statement is telling me is that its best to be a good sport, than winning or losing. In a game the mostly that counts its your being fair and honorable and choosing the right is most important than winning or losing. This is like good sportsmanship. Your being fair and not being a inaugurate. An rather than winning or losing its best for you to be doing the right. Most people will see and notice the sportsmanship that you have and it doesn't care if you win or lose its about choosing the right.

     Duties and responsibilities: An Oncologist is physician in charge of treating people with cancer. Every time a person is diagnosed with cancer (any type of cancer) will be immediately assisted by an oncologist. They discuss the type of cancer and it’s treatment, such as using chemotherapy, radiation therapy to kill the cancerous cells and also biopsy; to study the kind of cancer by removing an small tissue infected with cancer.

Reflection: – Not really because cancers sort of scare me and I think is a disease hard to treat.

Duties and responsibility:

          Medical librarians that are information specialist who provide assistance in finding medical documents. Clinical trials, medical treatments or procedures, as well as other pertinent information that applies to the medical industry are common documents sought after by these librarians. There are also specialized in using databases and references materials to conduct researched for medical information.

Education:

          Medical Librarians should have a strong background in science. To become a Medical Librarian you must complete a Master of Library and Information Science degree from a school accredited by the American Library Association (ALA).Many Medical Librarians continue to study for Ph.D.’s as more senior positions require a doctorate as a perquisite. Medical Librarians can complete continuing education and training to stay up to date in their field. Some Medical Librarians also have doctor of medicine degrees, many stay in education throughout their careers, and even into retirement.

Reflection:

          I would not like to be a medical librarian because it’s to much of you just sitting around job. Like you just sit on a desk all day. I want to be moving around. So this job isn’t suited for me.

Also by succeeding in life you earn yourself a good name.when you are with good people you become good . in the other hand if you are with bad people you become bad. the wise people lead you to good. but the bad people lead you to bad now is your chose to choose with who do you want to walk.

 

                                   Veteran days

 What is veteran’s day?

Veteran’s day is the celebration of the living and dead who served or serving in the army. All started at the first anniversary of ww1; back then it was called the “Armistice day” in November 11 of 1919. The congress accepted the veteran’s day in 1926, but it wasn’t till November 11 in 1938 when it became a holy day.

What is the purpose?

It’s more than obvious, is when give honors to all Americans heroes, all alive or dead not matter, even the missing or lost heroes. It must not be confused with Memorial Day. Even the soldiers in peace times are honored in this day; the new recruits also too.

 why is it important to show honor on veteran days?

To all those heroes, alive or death we must be proud of them; because for them we are here and we are who we are. They fight and give their best for us just to be in peace and stay without anything to worry with our families in here.  For them who are the bravest man on earth’s surface who decide to carry on with this task. For them who we can go peacefully around the city without the worry of being attacked or bomb or shot, while going for something at the store of a football game; thanks to them who we now live a peaceful time.  All thanks to America’s Navy.

What are a few ways to show honor and respect on Veteran’s day?

1.      You can show up at the Veterans Day event and appreciate what they do there.

2.      Ask a Veteran how it was his service in the Navy showing all respect to him.

3.      Invite a veteran to have a great time with you, it can be a military family member, also a friend.

Reflection: I don’t really know that much about Veterans Day but anyways I will tell how I feel about this day. They are all that this country deserves, they are the brave in human form. When we need them the most they are there, ever to show up and help us. With their help we destroy a powerful monster back then in the past; the Nazis. Thanks for them we are here with perhaps you too. When some other try’s to destroy us or sink us they are they to help such as Pearl harbor. And they represent us who we are and show how strong we are; I would like to say a great thanks to them. reflection: I believe that Peter Vidmar means that You have to do what your heart believes in and be proud of it this will make you feel happy. Also that if you believe in what you want everyday and one day it will come true to you as long as you do not let the bad things and bad thoughts get to you. For example  when you really want something you imaging you with it in a dream so if you wait the time it will soon approach you soon in your life. Just like Peter Vidmar really wanted to become a winner at the Olympics  someday so maybe he really cared and imagined himself winning till one day he got it. you can't let people bring you down life has its ups and downs but you always want to get back up and keep on pushing to make you life the best that you can be by sacrificing things. You only live once. Maybe people bullied Peter Vidmar because they didn't like what he did but as long as he was proud he pushed on.

Duties and Responsibilities: Health Educators are people who are specialized in teaching people about wellness, or the domain of the 6 elements of life. They always show new ideas to develop and improve; also promote wellness in people in individual communities.

Education: To become a Health Educator you need a bachelor’s degree. Many of them also may need a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) Credential.

                                     

Reflection?-Sure I would like to take it as a second career but I don’t really know how to express my ideas.

Its better to stick to having a good name, not a miserable life. You having a good name has people remember you and you are having a good reputation. You have good representation of your self. And people love to see that in people. Instead of living a miserable life you will find your self RICH IN LOVE from your family. You will always cherish that in life.

Duties and responsibilities: Healthcare Administrators are people who manage the direction and the delivery of healthcare to people as the name says. They manage the whole Health system and to send the specialist and everything, and organize the

departments such as doctors, nurses, etc.

Education: to be a Healthcare Administrator you need to have a master’s degree in public health and/or business. They also need skills in communication and leadership abilities.

Reflection: It sounds pretty interesting. Also I ever like to be a leader or a boss of something.

This also states that with a good name is when you become successful in life and things you achieve in life.I do agree with this quote because Coach K is correct a good name=success. An example is when you get a 4.0 in you grades you will be recognized by people and your parents are going to be happy.

 reflection:This quote is not only long but it also has a huge  meaning behind it. It means if you are being peer pressured into doing something you don't want to do, you shouldn't do it. Another meaning for this is to have courage and set the example for them to follow so that they become a better person. You should tell your friends why they shouldn't do what they are going to do. You should also be an example and tell them to choose the right. An example of this is when your friend peer pressures you to do something you don't want to do like doing drugs. You should tell them no and be an example to them and tell them to choose the right. It also means that you should stand up for yourself even if nobody is on your side. Overall, this quote is very important. It talks about not letting yourself be peer pressured and to set an example for others to follow. I also agree with this quote and the meaning of it. Don't let peer pressure ruin your life. Instead, choose the right.

reflecton:This quote is important because it is saying that a champion is someone that is a good person, And what it means by that is that in order to become a real champion you have to become a better person. Also by becoming a better person you achieve what you wanted and by achieving what you wanted you are as champions. Becoming a CTR champion is not just winning something but becoming a better person. Becoming a CRT champion is the champion that matters the most because it defines you. It defines who you are, what you do , and who you are as a person.

Reflection: I wouldn’t like to be an ear, nose, and throat specialist for it does not interest me. Although there may be certain people who find such career interesting I don’t.
